Two Days. Kanye Makes History.

The industry has been abuzz with rumors of Kanye West producing his own collection for awhile now. There was the whole Pastelle thing, then it was said that he would make his debut at NY Fashion Week, but it has finally been confirmed that our most stylish rapper will be debuting at Paris FW this Saturday, October 1st. The show is scheduled for 9:30 pm right after Jean Paul Gaultier & Loewe.

Lol what did I tell you all before? Justin Bieber is not playing! Now as we all know Tyler, the Creator has a liking to Justin Bieber... as well as his girlfriend Selena o_O... So this comes to no surprise... From what I heard this track is actually not real in the sense that Justin Bieber did not record this track WITH Tyler, but it indeed is Justin rapping. I kind of chuckled when I first heard it lol but what do YOU think of this? Should Bieber stfu or keep it coming?

       ( I hope Tyler, the Creator doesn't make Justin start wearing those black contacts -___-)

Hey, Hey, Hey... Goodbye...

As if news isn't always sad enough there is some more sad news... well sad news for most women between the ages of 25 and 70!

For 41 years All My Children had been providing love, drama, fashion, and entertainment specifically to women. I can remember when I was younger, as soon as my mom came home from a long day's work, the first thing she did was turn on those soap operas! She did it even before she started dinner! All My Children had over ten thousand episodes and not to mention the story lines that had EVERYONE on edge each show. I literally grew up in Pine Valley and honestly this is a little bit sad to even me, a person who lived off of soap operas through my mother. After the final episode which airs tonight, Vogue | Diaspora says a warm, heartfelt GOODBYE ALL MY CHILDREN!

Howard University Homecoming 2011: Grind to Prestige!

Well tonight I had the pleasure of being entertained by quite a few people tonight at the #HowardHomecomingUnveiling which was hosted by Jae Murphy with music by DJ Chubb E. Swag. I just need to make sure I start this off by saying close to ALL of the dancers that opened the show did amazing and of course Vogue | Diaspora's own Jocoby Joy killed her number to "Run the World: Girls."
All in all the unveiling was pretty interesting, Models Inc. brought out numerous jaw dropping models both adult and kids. Now I'm sure you all don't really care to read me telling you all about the show you just want to know the LINE-UP right?! LOL, I won't torture you anymore because I myself was indeed on the edge of my chair the whole time BEGGING to know the artist line-up ... Well without further ado...

         Recently, one of my Voguers came to me and said that Vogue | Diaspora is becoming too formal and never has 'real' interactions with our viewers where you all can discuss or let loose on how you feel about a certain topic. I mean that is after all what a blog site is all about right? Now, whenever a Voguer comes to me with an issue I immediately think of ways to fix this issue because, of course here at Vogue | Diaspora we write to entertain/please our VOGUERS! So, I sat and thought... what can my Voguers talk about? & then I thought of a very CONTROVERSIAL issue that a lot of people can relate to and that I also know may get me in some trouble but hey you have to make sacrifices right!?

Three days ago little Ms. Bobbi Kristina (daughter of Whitney Houston and the infamous Bobby Brown) released a video of her singing "Someone Like You" by Adele. For anyone to EVER try to do a cover of an ADELE song is a brave leap of faith. Anyhow of course, with every post I will refrain from giving my opinion on the subject. Which means that I will not tell you all how I felt about this uhh "interesting" cover ... LOL ... but instead, I will ask you what you think. Does Bobbi Kristina have a future in singing? VOGUE or NO?

Earlier in the week we revealed to you all a series of hints as to who our next "Tomorrow's Stars Today" feature would be. It was said that she is a dancer [and has danced/worked with and/or alongside numerous celebrities such as Fantasia, Ludacris, Souljah Boy and MANY MORE], and that she resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Now, before I release the name of this extremely beautiful, talented, young lady you must FIRST watch this amazing choreography by Atlanta's own SEAN BANKHEAD which features her and a line of other dancers. Maybe then you will get a feel for who this 'mystery' feature is!
