If there was a Fashion Olympics, I'm sure that Alexander McQueen (RIP), Burberry, and Victoria Beckham would win gold medals.

However since the Olympics are reserved for athletes, Vogue UK decided to use their September 2012 issue to celebrate this year's London Olympics by paying homage to UK's great designers.

When I Was In Vogue | Conquering The French Riviera

Last week, I showcased the beauty of France in my "Lost In France" Editorial. This week, I'm taking #TeamVogueD to the French Riveria. Being that I'm a South Florida girl, I'm usually not impressed by foreign oceans. However, the endless beauty of the French Riviera captured my being as soon as I arrived in France. I took 4am promenades along the coast, had midnight skinny-dipping sessions with my roommates, and enjoyed gelatos under the Mediterranean sun. I made a lot memories on the French shores, so I had to share the French Riviera with you.

My model's name is A. Johnson, and this is the story of a French women conquering the scary world with poise, strength and class.

Shortly after, celebrities and socialites catch on and endorse these looks, with the ~~basic~~ regular individuals wanting to emulate the famous. Without that second step, the celebrity endorsement, trends would have no credit or authority, and would ultimately fail to reach the masses. Think Kanye West & leather pants, or Beyonce & Louboutins...I mean sure people were wearing them, but these individuals are to credit for their popularity among urban culture. With that being said, I attribute the return of Gold Jewels to Big Sean.

I wanted to share my French experience with #TeamVogueD, so while in France I decided to capture the beauty of the country the best way I know how...THROUGH FASHION. As a result, I harassed two young ladies into letting me style them from their personal wardrobe and gave them a photo shoot in the midst of France. This is the first of two post.

My model's name is Sylvia, and this is the story of a girl trapped among the raw beauty of France.

Personally, I thought Kanye finally met his match when he got with Kim because I didn't think it was possible for him to update her couture style...but boy was I wrong. Judging from Kim K's slicked back hair, Jordan wearing promenades, and her chic black and white looks...Honey has been Kanye'D. But are we feeling it???
