Recently Nike released their latest commercial promoting their brand as well as basketball, and I saw a few familiar faces in the new "Nikebasketball: Basketball Never Stops" commerical...

So, earlier today Terrence J tweeted his excitement about a new movie he has been casted in. The movie which is titled 'Battle of the Year' also have two other stars who are quite popular in the media world. Chris Brown and Laz Alonzo, according to Terrence J, are also starring in the film.

But after a second listen, I think its safe to say that J. Cole delivered.

Yesterday, J. Cole released his video to "Lost Ones" on his official website and tweeted it to over a million of his fans and after I got passed my anger with J. Cole for not casting me for this music video since I had been rehearsing the second verse of the song for months... (tear, tear)... New Music Mondays

It's Monday so you know what that means... NEW MUSIC MONDAYS!!!! I don't know what it is about Vogue | Diaspora but we seem to get all the good looking fellas sending in their music, this proves that this is NOT just a page for the ladies. This Monday we're taking it to Brooklyn, New York with rapper Frank Mcfly. What I liked most about this particular song is that the rapper shows a bit of a sentimental side as he raps about a breakup with his girlfriend. The song, entitled "Take Off" (features Paul G.) gives its listeners a feel for breakup through a man's perspective. So Voguers, it's your job to give this song a listen, is this 18 year old rapper VOGUE or HELL NO?!

You should all know the deal by now, but for our new-found Voguers if you're liking what you hear then comment on the post and state your approval. Now, on the other hand if what you're hearing is just not okay then feel free to say HELL NO YOU GOTTA GO! We're all grown ups here! We Found Love

Is it sad that this video almost made me cry? I think #rihannanavy screamed a little bit louder when Rihanna released the "We Found Love" video. About three weeks ago Vogue | Diaspora showed our Voguers stills from the video shoot and now we give you the video via Rihanna Official Website . What I loved most about this video is that it actually had a concept. The raw, uncut, realness of this video is so breathtaking and I'm sure that almost everyone felt something after watching this video. Rihanna NEVER ceases to amaze her crowd and this video surely did speak volume.

If you know who Cassie is then you BETTER know who Jhene Aiko is. I'm not really one to boost one artist by bringing another down but Jhene can actually SING and she is a model. Personally, I was first introduced to Jhene's music back in my B2k days when I knew every song, move and attended every concert of theirs. Jhene, who is the cousin of former B2k member Dreux Pierre Frédéric (Lil Fizz) appeared on the Scream Tour 3 as an opening act and also recorded a few tracks with B2k such as "Tease."

Despite What The Critics Say . . .

We loved Kanye's Fashion Week debut. What better way to celebrate then to feature the looks from Dw as Fresh Off The Runway. 

& yes, Dw is still being talked about heavily even days after its launch. Some people are loving it, while some, as we know, are tearing it to pieces. In my opinion, while there may be some wrong, you have to admit there was a lot of good.The staging of the show was beyond, beyond just like I predicted last week. & a lot of the looks popped. Like the first all white one. Its my fave ;] & lastly, to me you can tell that he just didn't slap his name on something he 'thought his fans would wear' like a plethora of other celebrity designers and make a killing off of it. I think Mr. West has proven to us that he has a sincere interest in fashion.

*Sidenote- People can say what they want, but obviously insiders took Mr. West seriously about his debut as some of the biggest names in fashion turned out. Anna Wintour, Jeremy Scott, Azzedine Alaïa, the Olsen twins . . . Those people just don't come to shows for nothing.
