Fat... I Mean Joe?

I don't know if we can call him Fat Joe anymore because the 41 year old rapper shed a miraculous 100 POUNDS!







[Fat] Joe or Joseph Cartanega used to weigh 460 pounds until he finally began to take his health seriously after thinking of the sudden death of his close rapper friend Big Pun. He has had diabetes since the age of 14 and now at 41 he has worked hard to curb this disease and shed those pounds.


Joe explains how along with Big Pun he has had five other friends who died rather quickly from obesity-related illnesses and he did not want to have the same fate as they did.


Now joining with First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move Campaign, Joe is attacking the obesity epidemic and encouraging kids and teens to stay active and fit.
